Music Ministry
And Worship Ministry

John Hays, Music Minister
Brenda Reynolds, Worship Planner
The Music
and Worship ministries bring joy and inspiration
to all those who
listen and participate.
and bell choir director, is
"growing" the choir, having them present beautiful music to the glory
of God. He is "oh
so" talented. Come and listen to the music - or better yet, come and join
the choir. Choir rehearsal is Thursday at 6:30 P.M.

Part of the music ministry is taking the music to Crane Creek. Mary Oberg, standing in the picture on the left, leads the singing, John plays, and other choir members often go to sing with the Seniors.

Dore Davich, in the picture at the right, is an extremely talented flautist. Often she not only shares her music with the Seniors at Crane Creek, but she also shares with the FCCM congregation on Sunday mornings.
John
Hays on piano and Brenda Reynolds at the mike (and sometimes the
tambourine) often present the music at special services like the one on the
right: the Live Nativity. Our bell choir and children's tone chime choir along
with the Adult Choir join in and share their ministry.

Gary Stark is also highly talented. He has the ability to play anything on the piano, and play it extremely well. He and John Hays play for the worship service.
Carolyn Drown is an
extremely talented pianist. She plays the prelude
,
communion meditation music, and postlude once a month. The other three musicians
alternate Sundays to provide a uniquely beautiful musical experience. John,
Dore, and Gary complete the quartet of talented musicians.
All those who are interested in becoming a member of the choir, hand bell choir, children's tone chime choir, please contact the webmaster at webmaster@fccmelbourne.org or the office at 723-6831. Your message will be forwarded to the director.

“God Claims You”
Psalm 78:1-7
Listen, dear friends, to God's truth, bend your ears to what I tell you.
I'm chewing on the morsel of a proverb;
I'll let you in on the sweet old truths,
Stories we heard from our fathers,
counsel we learned at our mother's knee.
We're not keeping this to ourselves,
we're passing it along to the next generation—
God's fame and fortune,
the marvelous things he has done.
He planted a witness in Jacob,
set his Word firmly in Israel,
Then commanded our parents
to teach it to their children
So the next generation would know,
and all the generations to come—
Know the truth and tell the stories
so their children can trust in God,
Never forget the works of God
but keep his commands to the letter.

Dedication service
* Please stand for the Call to Worship.
L The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
P And also with you.
L Prepare a way for God.
Sing the praises of the one who rides upon the clouds..
P We will exalt God's holy name and be glad in his presence.
We will shout for joy and declare all that the Lord has done.
L God gives the desolate a home. He leads prisoners out of
bondage and richly blesses them.
P God causes the rain to fall and restores the land.
He provides for the needy
and delivers those who call upon his name.
L Blessed be God whose majesty is over Israel
whose power is in the skies.
